In John 13:35, Jesus says, “By this all people will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” When we genuinely love and care for one another, then allow that love to be seen and experienced by those who don’t yet believe, we are spreading our passion for Christ in a powerful way.
That’s why Community Groups are at the heart of our church’s strategy for spreading a passion for Christ. Our Community Groups are welcoming communities that not only meet regularly, but share life with one another. When you become part of a Community Group, you are not joining a Bible Study. You are committing to share life with some other Christ followers or people exploring the claims of Christ. You will meet together for Christ-centered discussion and prayer, but you’ll also find yourself sharing meals together, caring for one another in times of need, and developing genuine friendships with the members of your group.
But that care and concern is not only shared with other Christians. These groups are Christian communities, but communities on a mission to spread a passion for Christ. Community Groups will at times volunteer in various venues around our region to meet and show love toward those who don’t yet believe. They will serve neighborhoods and the city. They will wrap their groups around hurting people who don’t yet know Christ, and bring the message of Jesus to our region in word and in deed.
Here are 4 reasons why you should join a Growth Group:
The Men’s Ministry develops men in Christian living to make an eternal impact for this generation and those to come. We accomplish this mission through Bible study, discipleship classes, evangelism training, leadership development, accountability groups, mentoring, retreats, mission trips and special events. In today’s culture, it’s increasingly important for men to honor God with their hearts and lives.

Kids are a huge part of what we do at Hope Valley Bible Church! We believe children’s ministry is one of the most important areas in any church, as they are the next generation of the church! Our kids ministry is a place where kids can have fun, meet new friends, sing songs of worship together, learn a relevant life lesson and basic truths from the Word of God, all while their parents enjoy the worship service going on downstairs.
We believe it is just as important for kids to learn the Word of God as it is for Mom and Dad! Some of the ways we do that are by using creative, easy to understand teaching methods like crafts and visual tools to enhance the lesson your child is learning each and every week. Our volunteers are committed to teaching your child the truth from God’s Word and how to apply it to everyday life!
Our kids ministry meets Sundays at 10am for the following age groups:

Ignite Teen Ministry is for all teenagers in Jr High and Sr High. Our mission is to introduce teenagers to Jesus Christ in hope that they will come to know Him, grow in their relationship with Him, and live as a RADIANT light in a dark world for Him. We do this with a team of dedicated volunteers who want to be more than a friend – they want to invest in and mentor young men and women to make a difference in their lives.
Ignite meets every Sunday @10am and Wednesdays @7pm
